Why Deuteronomy? Deuteronomy is my favorite book of the Bible. Over the years, I’ve taught the Pentateuch, often aligning with the annual or triennial Torah reading cycles. Each cycle brings new insights, and this time is no exception. We will approach Deuteronomy with the respect and honor it has commanded for thousands of years while engaging in a text-critical academic analysis.
